The Newest Whisky in Our High Altitude Collection
The newest release in our High Altitude Collection started as a blend of 15, 20 and two 22 year old corn components blended with a 20 year old rye. Consistent with our High Altitude process, we re-racked this blend into three cask types - Sauternes, Cognac and air-dried, heavy toast, char 1, new American oak from Kelvin Cooperage. We kept the corn ratio high to increase the viscosity and set a foundation of fruit that would respond well to Sauternes casks. Following three months of further maturation, we reblended a selection of the casks to create Goldfinch First Flight.
Sauternes is often referred to as "Golden Wine" for its rich, honeyed flavor and golden color. As two thirds of this whisky was finished in Sauternes barrels, "Goldfinch" was a natural fit. A balance of vibrant white fruit and creamy vanillin texture define its character.

How to Purchase
We use a lottery to ensure fair access to our whiskies without secondary pricing. While not everyone will receive a bottle, we allocate a large portion of our releases to our mailing list in order to get bottles to our biggest supporters. If you do not win, your odds go up significantly in the following lottery.
On October 7 at 12 PM ET we will send the Goldfinch lottery link to our mailing list and you will have 48 hours to enter before it closes.

How to Enter: When the lottery opens, we send our mailing list a link to enter (the link will also be available on our website). After entering, look for a confirmation email to ensure your entry was properly submitted
Shipping Restrictions: Our fulfillment partner CANNOT ship to P.O. Boxes or FedEx/UPS locations and cannot ship outside of the U.S. or to the following states: AL, AK, AR, HI, MI, MS, SD, TN & UT
Lottery Results: If your entry is selected, EQL will automatically process your payment and your bottle will be shipped directly to you. If your entry is not selected, your odds of winning the next Found North lottery you enter increase significantly
